Solution

Gassner developed a sophisticated digital system based on Revolution Pi. The solution combines intelligent access control via RFID or mobile app with precise weighing technology and flexible payment options. A key feature is real-time availability updates for recycling centers accessible via smartphone.

Implementation

At its core is the RevPi Core, complemented by RevPi DIO modules for connecting various inputs and outputs. The system manages both container scales for bulk waste and smart waste facilities for smaller items. Custom C++ applications and Gassner's proprietary Webconnect software enable seamless integration with municipal systems.
