Modbus RTU Master Setup Issue

I would like to set up my Connect S as a Modbus RTU master to a small energy monitoring device i have in the office. I was able to read data fine using my laptop and a RS485 USB adapter with Modbus Poll however I am having issues using the pi. I have tried using the RS485 connector, however, I had no luck. I then plugged the USB adapter into the USB port, and I noticed that none of the Tx and RX lights are flashing. On Pictory, i have set up one input which is the address I had success with earlier on Modbus Poll. It almost looks like the pi is doing nothing. I have tried to follow the tutorial but still no luck, i feel like there is just one small step missing. Can the USB ports be used on the Connect S to use RS485?

Hi, i could have a similar configuration, with an USB-MODBUS adaper...
In pictory did you change the standard "/dev/ttyRS485" with your USB device_path for example "/dev/ttyUSB0" ?

Then you have to save the configuration on FILE -> SAVE as Start-Config and the TOOL -> Reset Driver
