Hi all,
we have several dozen RevPI Connect 4 in the field, and we are currently migrating from the provided Raspberry OS / Debian, to Balena.
We also have several RevPi Connect 5, and I am investingating if it is currently possible for us to use them with Balena.
Unfortunately, RevPi 5 is not supported yet, and it is not planned.

We can install Balena for Raspberry Pi 5, and it works fine, but there is no support for the DIO module.
Is there some way to compile the required kernel modules ourselves?
Question to Kunbus, are you involved in getting support for revpi5 into balena, or do you have further info?
Thank you!

Re: Support for RevPi 5 in Balena
Hi,
just stumbled upon this. Balena does not proactively support all devices. If a customer is there who needs it they look into it and support it if they see a demand. So pls reach out to the Balena guys. They are very nice and pretty responsive.
