Butchered apache2 on my device. How can I reset?

Post by JS_bd_11 »

Hi there,

My issues began when trying to change the port number the server was loading on. I inadvertently uninstalled the "revpi-webstatus" package and it has been all downhill from there. I have tried the following to get things stable again and only found that things are getting worse to the point that cockpit is now no longer loading on the device itself.
  • reinstalled the certs, reinstalled cockpit and revpi-webstatus, changed port numbers back to original 41443
All this with many reboots in the process.

Is there any way to reset the system to factory settings without cockpit loading? Or, is there a good place to look for why apache wont even load pages locally on the device now?

Hi,

A factory reset can be performed by entering the following command:

Code: Select all

sudo revpi-factory-reset
