NAT Router

Post by pwbridgeman »

Hi,
I am new to the RevPi and have what I hope is a simple question.
I currently use a NAT router to connect a CompactLogix PLC on our process network (192.x.x.x) to a kepserver on our "business" network (10.x.x.x) using a 1:1 translation to pass plc tag data into Kepware.
With it's dual ethernet ports, can the RevPi Connect be configured to accomplish the same task? If so, could you please point me to the appropriate documentation or tutorial?

Thanks in advance.

Dear pwbridgeman, this is a standard Linux feature so just search for a networking tutorial, try it and it would be great if you could give us some feedback. I.e.: https://iotbytes.wordpress.com/configur ... -iptables/

Excellent! That was too easy. Don't know why I could not find this info when I googled for it earlier.... guess I wasn't "asking" the right questions. ;)
Thanks.
