Roadmap for Trixie Image?

Hi,
I wanted to ask what the roadmap/timeframe regarding a Trixie-based image is? (since Trixie-based images are released by the RasPi foundation since beginning of October)

I'm about to update a couple of systems anyhow, and would like to avoid updating again in the near future, I just need to have an idea if it's weeks, months, years

Hi Markus,

We plan to start with the Trixie image in December / January. From what I can see so far I would expect us to release the image somewhere in Q2/2026. As soon as we have reached a stable base we will start to build official beta images for testing and will announce them in the forum.
