I have RevPi Connect S and have downloaded the latest Bookworm image, md5sum checked, and attempted to load the updated image to the RevPi. It failed and now the RevPi only comes up with the rpi bootloader screen searching for an image when booted.
When I try to reload the disk image (bookworm lite) using RpiBoot and Rpi imager, it writes successfully but then fails to verify reporting: Error reading from storage, SD card may be broken.
How do I reset and reimage from here?
Pi Imager Write Fail
Re: Pi Imager Write Fail
Hi KristinH, this sounds like a problem that may be related to the bootloader settings or the eMMC memory. So, if you have not adjusted the fuses of the bootloader, then I would guess the latter, i.e. eMMC. Here's a tip from the corner if the transfer rate for transferring the image to the eMMC is significantly slow:
Revolution Pi Software FAQ | When I flash an image, the transfer rate is quite low

Re: Pi Imager Write Fail
Thank you for the useful link. It didn't help, so I tried another Revolution Pi and that ended up in the same state. Given the very low chances of both RevPis having the same fault when they worked previously, I swapped out the only remaining common denominator - the USB lead.
I now have two working Revolution Pis and development can continue.
Thank you.

Re: Pi Imager Write Fail
Ah, that was clear again, the RevPi hardware works perfectly
Nowadays, USB cables sometimes only have the function of charging devices, e.g. small gadgets. This is sometimes really difficult. Well, there was a happy ending to the weekend after all!
