Re: RevPI Connect-4 no RTC on Balena Cloud

Hi Jack,
Thank you for pointing out the solution you found. I am posting it here in the forum so that others can also find it easily. Use the following variables to ensure that i2c is switched on and the appropriate RTC type is specified
BALENA_HOST_CONFIG_dtparam = "i2c_arm=on"
BALENA_HOST_CONFIG ...

Re: Dali Module

Hi Rico,
you're right, the idea of offering a DALI gateway for the RevPi has been floating around for a long time. However, there has been no commercially viable demand to date. And so the use of a gateway is still a viable solution. There are providers who offer DALI gateways with various protocols ...

Re: Connect to Lora

Hello Lorenzo,
what do you want to do with it? Set up a LoRaWAN concentrator or a LoRaWAN device? Different Semtech ICs are required for each.
For our devices, a connection via USB is the best option.
With the concentrator, for example, the time-critical protocol handling must take place on the USB ...

Re: UL certification for the RevPi Core S

Hi CFromSpace,
you are right, it is a bit irritating that there are two identical entries NRAQ.E494534 as result on the website https://productiq.ulprospector.com/en/search?term=kunbus&page=1 . If you use the second (I assume newer), you will also find the listing of Core/Connect S/SE.

Re: Relay DIO

Hello Gabriel,
by now we have thought about a DO with relays. Which voltage (24 V DC or 230 V AC) and current per relay contact do you need for your use case?

Re: Gehäuse um RevPi

Hallo Markus,
um Euch besser unterstützen zu können noch ein paar ergänzende Fragen:
Welches Material (Kunststoff, Metall) plant Ihr denn für das Gehäuse? Mit Kunststoff ist die Wärmeableitung herausfordernder.
Was wollt Ihr einsetzen? Core oder Connect?
Was kommt noch in das Gehäuse? Nur noch ...

Re: REVPI bald auch mit 4K Modul (Raspberry Pi 4) ?

Hallo Steven,

na klar ist der Performance-Zuwachs interessant. Wenn es ein CM4 gibt, werden wir auf dieser Basis sicherlich weitere Revolution Pi Geräte anbieten.

Gruß

Re: Kommerzielle Nutzung RevPi Connect

Hallo Peer,
