I just flashed a revpi core with the Buster image (7/21). I ssh in, set the serial and MAC, then apt update & apt upgrade. Right after that, I can't log into the web portal with any password. The ssh prompt works just fine, and the password on the side of the module matches the password after ...

Hello,
I got the same problem:
I boot Buster into Revolution Pi COMPACT.
After boot. I can not login ssh (user: pi, password: "on side stick") neither web ui (user: admin, password: "on side stick")
Which default password is used for this image?
