I will look into getting BalenaOS working on de Connect+ with the use of the base image Balena provides for the Core ( these are based on the Yocto project, that's why I asked ).

Hi @stephan, did you manage to get it working with Balena in the end?
The development version of balenaOS on the revpi core 3 will not allow a shell through the serial console because the UART interface is used to communicate with the modules on RS485.
Please let us know if you managed or not to ...
