Product Description
The RevPi Gate EtherNet/IP integrates the Revolution Pi system into an existing EtherNet/IP network. The EtherNet/IP gateway is connected to the respective base module via the overhead system connector.
Please note the following instructions:
- This module is the Adapter (Slave) variant and not a Scanner (Master) module! If you are not familiar with industrial network protocols, please check with us beforehand to determine if such a module is suitable for your purposes.
- EtherNet/IP gateway module is solely compatible with the ethernet based fieldbus protocol EtherNet/IP. Please don't mistake EtherNet/IP protocol with TCP/IP protocol!
- The gateway is incompatible with RevPi Connect 4, RevPi Connect SE, and RevPi Core SE.
- Please note that for each RevPi Gate, you will need a jumper to connect it to your Revolution Pi system, which is not included in the delivery. Additionally, please order the PiBridge plug separately.
