Random Values when there is nothing connected MIO

Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone has come across this.
Currently I have 2 x MIOs, DIO and a AIO. The AIO inputs when nothing is connected sends a 0 value.
But the MIOs when nothing is connected are sending a 10720 or there abouts for all inputs.
I am wondering if there is a way to stop this random value being produced.

The MIO Analogue Inputs are set to Analogue Inputs.

Regards,

Mitchell

Sorry may have accidentally figured this out, correct me if I am wrong.

As MIO is 0-10v (0 - 10000mV), then a 10700 +/- 50 is a signal it sends out as a connection fault, similar to 4 - 20ma when it is below 4.

Does this sounds reasonable?

Hi Mitchell, thank you very much for your analysis, that's wonderful. Take a look at the following tutorial

A FAQ there is a known issue - use a jumper for all unused analog inputs to 0V.
