one-wire

Hi,
Does the revolution pi support the one-wire procotol out of the box or does it require some modifications? I'm looking to hook up a coupleof temperature sensors. If you have an alternative approach, I would love to hear it.
Thanks,
Jan.

This topic has been discussed in various threads in out Forums. Please also use the Forum search to get information. In short: No this is not possible. 1-wire is not an industrial field bus and using these type of reasonable sensors is only common to DIY smart home projects. Our DIO In- and Outputs are taylored for use in 24 V industrial automation world. They are not connected to the GPIOs of the compute module and thus you cannot run 1-wire on them.
There are 1-wire to Modbus converters out there which you could use to realize your project. or you could use our AIO module and their RTD inputs for a high precision temperature measurement (assuming this will blast you budget, but take it just for a way to realize a professional high precision industrial system).
