SSH Timeout server not responding

I am fresh owner of a Revolution Pi 4 and started my experiments.
On May 17 I made all the updates, and suddenly the ssh connection became absolutely unreliable.
If I only login and do nothing, connection stays stable, and if I execute commands with only expected little output,
connection stays stable to (e.g. dmesg | tail)
But as soon as I want to have some more, connection freezes and
after a while connection quits with
