Hi all,

last week i received a brand new RevPi connect 5, i have allready a few RevPi connect 4 in production, so the initial setup is not new to me.

But now i can not acces the RevPi with the provided creds on the sticker?

i've attached a photo of the sticker.

I read: 8vl9qd Am i wrong? Do i need glasses? ;p

Hi RedP, It's strange but maybe the easiest way to get quick access is to reload the image, then you can log in with the default credentials you mentoned ...

Hi RedP, after you logged in with the default username and password, were you able to re-login with same password or did it change to the password written on the sticker?

I had the same problem as well. It's a RevPi Connect 5 with the image 250124-revpi-bookworm-arm64-default preloaded. I took it out of the box today. Logging in with raspberry worked, the password was not changed automatically.

When trying to change the PW, this error message appears:

/var/cache/cracklib/cracklib_dict.pwd: No such file or directory Password quality check failed: The password fails the dictionary check - error loading dictionary

How did you try changing the password? I can't reproduce this when using "passwd" and "chpasswd"
