Help Selecting RevPi Controller
Posted: 31 Jan 2025, 00:41
I'm new to RevPi, and am looking for a replacement for the ArduinoPLC OPTA Lite. I've browsed revolutionpi.com products, but am confused about what I'd need to buy to replace the OPTA Lite. Here are my requirements:
1) Control two 48 VDC Motors that are reversible - reverse through a separate 12 VDC Contactor Relay connected to PLC outputs.
2) Operates at 12-24 VDC.
3) Four Relay Outputs 10A, Eight Analog/Digital Inputs.
4) Programmable via Windows based IDE preferred - Linux/iOS will be considered.
5) Ladder Diagram will be the primary PLC programming language.
6) Micro programmable so that enhanced logging, reporting, and communication techniques can be used. Any micro language is fine.
7) Ethernet (remote) configurable, updateable.
8) Suitable for office settings - dry, dust-free,
9) Reliable - proven to work in thousands of installations.
10) Reliable supplier with excellent service support.
Thanks!
Bob
