Can RevPi Connect 4 Use a USB Wi-Fi Adapter for WLAN Connectivity?

Hello,

I am planning to buy the RevPi Connect 4 (PR100395), which does not have built-in WLAN functionality. I would like to enable Wi-Fi connectivity by connecting a USB Wi-Fi adapter. However, I’m unsure about the compatibility and setup process.

Here are my questions:

Does the RevPi Connect 4 support USB Wi-Fi adapters?
If so, are there specific Wi-Fi adapter models or chipsets recommended for compatibility?
What are the steps to configure the Wi-Fi connection once the adapter is connected?
Do I need to install any drivers, or is it plug-and-play with certain adapters?
Any guidance, official documentation, or community experience on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Chong Yu Wei

Hi Dirk, thank you for your reply. I have another question: can the Kunbus RevPi Flat S with WLAN functionality connect to Wi-Fi 6?

I recommend checking the RevPi forums or documentation for a list of tested adapters. Generally, adapters using the Atheros or Realtek chipsets work well. Once you have am adapter, configuring the Wi-Fi connection is usually straightforward with the right guides.
