SSH drops after a while

Hi all,

This is the first time I test a Revolution Pi and unfortunately the experience was not the best (maybe my fault).

I have a brand new Revolution Pi Connect SE which according to the label came with the OS "2022-07-28-revpi-buster". The first thing I did was to update the packages using:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
After that, the ssh sessions drop after approximately 30 seconds.

What have I done wrong?

Kind regards,
Américo

Dear Américo, there may have been an update to SSH that could have caused the connection to be lost.
Your approach was actually exactly the right one, namely to update the system first, as we suggest in our Quick Start Guide.
Of course, it is always tricky to do an update without knowing beforehand if the SSH connection can be interrupted.
I suggest you do the checklist and update the device as follows:

Hi again,

I installed a newer image "2023-01-12-revpi-buster" and it seems to be working fine now.

Thanks,
Américo

Dear Américo, thank you for your positive feedback. Just now, the cat has also brought in the new beta image Bullseye:
