Cloning revpi configuration

Post by KavenWong »

Hello,
I usually need to configure several revpi's with the same configuration. So far, I have to go through pictory and set each up manually, which is quite cumbersome and error-prone. Are these settings saved somewhere so I can copy a file to each revpi, restart and be done with it?
Thank you in advance.
Cheers,

Hi Kaven Wong, you can copy the PiCtory configuration. Have a look here: https://revolution.kunbus.de/forum/view ... 3952#p3952

Nice to Know Dirk!

This method will clone all the virtual configurations (like Modbus, etc?)

Thanks!

Hi David_GT, yes the configuration is copied as well as the Modbus action items etc. But you have to enable the services i.e. Modbus Master and / or Modbus Slave. See "man revpi-config".
