Profinet Jitter

Post by Purecade »

Hello,

I would like to know if there is jitter if RevPi is used as a profinet slave, and if so, what is the approximate jitter.

Hello Purecade,

Profinet is only possible for us (with our software or hardware) via a gateway.

If you want to use Profinet directly with the RevPi, you will need a software library from another manufacturer.
We can therefore not make any statement about possible jitter.

Hello,

You mean that if the RevPi implements the profinet function via CODESYS, the profinet jitter depends on COEDSYS, right?

Best regards,

That's what I mean.
And for this reason we can not make any statement about possible jitter.
