Re: RevPi Connect fresh install, 25% of CPU already loaded at idle
Hello, Could this be related to these 'irq's that run at idle: The irq/66-3f980000 and irq/66-dwc2_hso are kernel threads that use drivers to handle tasks. In this case the USB (DWC2) driver. It is normal for these to have a CPU load of around 25%, as there is a lot of traffic over USB, this cannot ...

Re: Advantages of using the Profinet IRT Gateway
Hello Florian, As mentioned above, performance ratings are very difficult to answer. Therefore, any statement must be taken with a grain of salt. Hello,
Unfortunately, I can't tell you how to reconfigure it now, but you could use a USB to ETH adapter as a workaround.
Best regards

Re: how many real time threads
Hello, If I am using EtherCAT for motion control and the control cycle is 5ms, I would like to know how many real time threads can be running at the same time? We cannot provide any information on this topic, as it depends very much on your own application. This should be tested by yourself. If it h...

Re: RevPi communicates with Siemens PLC via S7
Hello Cade, we need to combine these gateway modules to be able to communicate with Siemens PLC via S7 protocol? The S7 protocol can run on Profibus. But this should be checked again beforehand. In the following link, you will find how to use the Modular GW. https://kunbus-gmbh.atlassian.net/service...
