Re: Can't set up WireGuard

Dear all, Here is how I documented the process for our own Revpi's. Installation on the Revolution Pi is not much different than installing a regular client. If you have not done so already, upgrade the Revolution Pi to Buster (or newer), as documented elsewhere on this forum. With that, install Wir...

Re: small, din-railable UPS reccomendations?

Dear S_wauters, Still looking. For another project, where we use regular Raspberry Pi's, I use a beefy, but otherwise plain power bank. Be sure to get one that supports pass-through charging. Also: source locally, because many of the on-line ads overstate the actual capacity of the power banks. Kees...

Re: CodeSYS WebVisu

Dear Giuliano,

I can confirm you can use HDMI for the RevPi. There is a micro-HDMI port on the top of the unit.

Not sure about webvisu, but I am sure others can help on that part. I run nginx with a Vue front-end + Python backend from the system and that works nicely.

Re: 64-bit Buster image?

Dear Nicolai, While you sit around waiting for chips to be delivered, you should have more time available for non-hardware tasks, right? ;-) Kidding aside: thank you for the pointers. Which of those do you expect to be easy and which of those do you expect to need special attention for use in 64-bit...

64-bit Buster image?

Dear Kunbus, Can you please provide a 64-bit version of your Buster image for Revolution Pi? We use InfluxDB for data collection. Lovely time series database, of course. Unfortunately, they dropped 32-bit support from their 2.x releases. The Raspberry Pi 3 inside our Connect+'s support 64-bit operat...

Re: RevPi + DIO mit Netzteil verbinden

Dear hub2022,

This is also how I wired up mine, and they work fine. We grounded the RevPi and just use 0 and +24 for signals.

Re: RevPi Connect+ Buster Image installieren über Mac OS

Dear Andi, Apologies to reply in English, I can read German but not write it. We also use Mac as development platform. Here is our internal documentation about flashing images. Upgrading to Buster You might prefer to upgrade to Buster using apt. Unfortunately that breaks some of the Revolution Pi-sp...

Re: Abstraction in Python?

Dear MukeshPython, In general I would advise not to try to keep your Java programming style in Python. They have different philosophies at their cores and if you try to write Java in Python too much you actually make your life harder for yourself. That said: this tutorial will probably answer your q...

small, din-railable UPS reccomendations?

Dear All, We are looking for a small UPS for the Revolution Pi plus its 4G modem (we use RUT24, if that matters). Does not have to be super powerful, it would be nice to give the revpi a minute or two for it to be able to send a message that the power went out and perform a graceful shutdown. Requir...
