Re: Beta Release für RevPi Trixie

Liebe Community,

Euer Revolution Pi Team

Re: Beta Release for RevPi Trixie

Hi everyone!

One thing we forgot to mention is that the default password has changed!
Starting with Trixie, the username remains pi but the default password is now revolutionpi instead of the previous raspberry.

Best regards,
Your Revolution Pi Team

Re: Encoder support in RevPi DIO and DI modules

Hi ctf,

I don't have direct hands-on experience with encoders, but your question was interesting enough that I decided to test it. And I can confirm: the limit is 6 encoders per I/O module, not per CPU module.

With a RevPi DI alone, you can configure up to 6 encoder pairs without issues
When you ...

Re: RevPi DIO Output LED Remains Red

The red Output LED on the DIO module typically indicates that the 24V output power supply is either missing or not connected correctly. The DIO has separate power supply inputs for the input side and the output side. Both need their own 24V feed.

A quick way to verify using a single PSU is to ...

Re: Node-RED update

Hallo Georg,

Re: Rev Pi Core S Boot Mode/RPI Boot Issues

Hi Shibo,

The rpiboot output you shared looks good... it confirms the device is being detected and the second-stage boot is completing successfully. The Windows pop-up error ("USB device was not able to connect") sometimes appears at that stage and doesn't necessarily mean something went wrong ...

Re: Betriebssystem Update allgemein

Hallo Fritz,

Re: Fehler beim Booten: Time out device for dev-dri-card0.device

Hallo sm7495,

Re: Revpi connect 4 CON4 CORE replacement

Hi Suukerjunk,

I understand your RevPi has sustained significant physical damage with the CM4 module being torn from the board and surface mount components becoming detached. Unfortunately, we don't offer individual replacement parts or bare boards for our Revolution Pi systems.

If you need to ...

Re: RevPi Core S + RPIBoot Problems

To use the mass-storage-gadget64 directly with the -d parameter, you need to start rpiboot with:

rpiboot -d mass-storage-gadget64

This tells rpiboot to use the mass-storage-gadget64 directory directly instead of searching for boot files in the default locations.
The mass-storage-gadget64 ...
